I am LaQuay and I am a Licensed Social Worker by trade. I have worked with children and families in a servicing capacity for 10 years, from pregnant and parenting teen parents, early childhood youth, homeless and runaway youth, families involved with the child welfare system, and men in the urban area leaving violent/gang life. In many of these positions, I have taught individuals interpersonal skills, soft skills, and social-emotional development skills. The word changes based on the population and the technique I have taught these skills have changed but the message remains the same: these are essential life skills for navigating through successful interpersonal relationships in your personal and professional life.
